The nearby Burk Elementary has received an ‘A’ rating from the Beat The Odds Institute, a state-wide initiative operated by the Center for the Future of Arizona. After recently instituting the CFA’s new educational plan, Burk Elementary saw its students’ average performance rise from a C grade to an A grade within just one year.

Older students can attend Gilbert Junior High School on North Burk Street or Gilbert High School on East Elliot Road.

Gilbert Junior High School offers a variety of extracurricular activities for students to enjoy, including football, volleyball, and basketball, as well as chess and student government opportunities. The school is also part of the National Junior Honor Society, a service organization that encourages students to serve the community while still maintaining strong academic standards.

Gilbert High School is a public high school that offers over 220 different courses. Students can take courses in business, industrial technologies, agriculture, performing arts, and more. The school also offers 50 unique clubs and teams that students can join, including Auto Shop Club, Baseball Club, German Club, Students Against Cancer, Yearbook, Sports Medicine Club, and a variety of sports teams like volleyball, track and field, golf, football, hockey, and badminton.
